Simon Heyworth

Simon established his reputation in recording at Virgin’s Manor Studios, most notably as co-producer of Mike Oldfield’s Tubular Bells. He gained years of experience working as a Mastering Engineer in London, before establishing his own revolutionary Mastering studio in Devon during the summer of 2002.

Since 2002 we have been host to a number of original new albums from new artists as well as seminal legacy productions. Some of these have been remixed in Stereo and 5.1 as well as being available as updated Remasters. This has underlined the studios capability of moving between Stereo and Surround Sound with ease.

Andy Miles

Andy received his BA Hons degree in September 2009 and three months later started working at SAM. He was supposed to have a couple of days work experience but never left. He has worked his way through various Stereo and Surround projects with Simon since joining, gaining masses of experience and credits. He is now a fully fledged Assistant Mastering Engineer at Super Audio Mastering with specific responsibilities for all new media.

Leisure time

Within the complex is the Monks Withecombe Art Gallery, a superb place to view the works of contemporary artists.

If time allows, go walking in the unspoilt wilderness of Dartmoor, or surfing on Devon’s north coast.

Flower filled courtyards and outstanding views provide an ideal relaxing environment.
